The Scientific Advisory Board’s role is to advise on research methodology and on the topics to be addressed in the research. It evaluates the project’s progress at the end of each annual meeting through verbal or written statements by the chairperson (in confidential coordination with the board members present). The members of the Scientific Advisory Board are also available to act as peer reviewers of draft reports and serve as ‘critical friends’ to RESCuE. Some members of the Advisory Board will contribute more extensive specialist inputs to certain Workpackages, according to their specialist expertise.
